These guys were the soundtrack for my youth! We would play their albums through a P.A. system. Bob Bennett’s drumming was as powerful as any rhythm maker I’ve ever heard and I still get that feeling I had then when I cue up “have Love Will Travel” or “Strychnine” on my IPod. Our kids and their kids can’t believe the Sonics were from “that” era, since their sound transcends the time between then and now. It’s the “real deal” if you are looking for what “Rock & roll” really means.
no offense to anyone, but i **** it when people say that there is no good music nowadays! i mean just because the music thats on the radio ***** doesnt mean that everything *****! there are plenty of really talented artists out there, you just have to look a little deeper than whats on the surface. anyway, awesome song!

Black keys version is OK. But this one blows it out. One of the surest examples of the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” theory.
If we had a the 100 most underrated groups in rock music, sonics would score high.
